I got into photography very reluctantly because it seems like such a typical white person hobby, and I already play guitar/tennis so I figured this would be too much.
However, for one reason or another, I bought a DSLR camera. After taking a few pictures with it, I was somewhat disappointed that they didn't look like the exquisite pictures seen so often these days, and it was at that very moment that I realized an expensive camera does not necessarily equal good photographs.
So, dozens of Youtube videos later, I consider myself more knowledgeable in what it takes to create "good" pictures. I'm still experimenting and far from an expert, but I've taken some pictures that I like, and that's really all that matters.
I still am not very proficient at photo editing, and most of the pictures in my gallery are very lazily edited with minimal changes to the original.
Here are some photos I like:
Put some of the blooming cacti pictures on this site.
